Small actions, real impact: how Acwyre supports its charity partners
A big thank you to everyone who donated to our recent food bank collection in support of Little Miracles. Every donation makes a real difference to local families who need it most — and it's part of something bigger about how we work at Acwyre.
Small habits, close to home
Alongside the food bank drive, we've been finding small ways to cut down on waste in our own office. Surplus from our fruit deliveries doesn't go to landfill — it goes straight to families who can use it. It's a small habit, but it reflects something we care about: doing the right thing consistently, not just when there's a campaign to promote.
Why this matters beyond the campaigns
Face-to-face marketing puts our teams in direct contact with charities and causes every day — raising awareness, running fundraising campaigns, and helping organisations like Samaritans and Stand Up To Cancer reach the people who need to hear from them. That work shapes how we think about our own office, too.
The values our collaborators bring to client campaigns don't stop at the client's door. This year alone, members of the Acwyre team have taken on personal challenges for causes close to their hearts — including trekking to Everest Base Camp to raise money for Little Miracles, a charity supporting families of children with additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions. Nine days, temperatures as low as -15°C, and a team that made it to Base Camp together.
Whether it's a food bank collection, a fundraising trek, or a fruit box that ends up feeding a family instead of a bin, the common thread is the same: we try to put as many of these initiatives in place as we reasonably can, because the people who work here genuinely care about the causes they support — not because it makes for a good post.
Getting involved
If you're a charity looking for a partner who understands how to reach people — on the doorstep, in the community, or simply in the way we run our own office — we'd love to hear from you.
FAQ
What is Little Miracles Charity, and how is Acwyre connected to it?
Little Miracles is a charity supporting families of children with additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions. Acwyre has supported the charity through initiatives including a team-led trek to Everest Base Camp and an in-office food bank collection.
What does Acwyre do with surplus office food?
Rather than sending surplus from office fruit deliveries to landfill, Acwyre redirects it to local families who can use it, in partnership with organisations like Little Miracles.
Does Acwyre only support causes through client campaigns?
No. While face-to-face marketing puts Acwyre's teams in direct contact with charity partners professionally, the company also runs its own internal initiatives — including fundraising challenges, food bank drives, and waste-reduction efforts — independent of client work.
How can a charity partner with Acwyre?
Charities interested in partnering with Acwyre, whether for a fundraising campaign, an acquisition partnership, or another form of collaboration, can get in touch directly at hello@acwyre.co.uk.
What other causes has Acwyre supported?
Alongside Little Miracles, Acwyre has supported Samaritans' World Suicide Prevention Day campaign and taken part in Stand Up To Cancer fundraising activities.
